Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Frankfort, Kentucky.

This position is a travel role with a duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
  • Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
  • Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required

  • Proficiency in reading/comprehending written instructions, following verbal instructions, and PC skills
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude
  • Technical/motor skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures
  • Mental ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, and contend with irregular schedules and continuous concentration to detail
  • Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
