Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis
- Absorb and assist radiologists with imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for scans
- Evaluate scan quality
- Maintain patient positioning
- Control CT equipment
- Administer contrast agents
- Perform interventional procedures as needed
- Handle clerical tasks including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- At least 18 months of healthcare experience as a CT TechARP (CT) or ASRT certified
- State licensure (most states)
