Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as 3D rendering, 2D and 3D imaging, and various types of scans.
  • Assist with patient preparation and administration of contrast media.
  • Document findings and communicate with referring physicians and patients.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and lumbar punctures.
  • Manage region of interest measurements and multiplanar reconstructions.
  • Handle emergencies and critical care situations as needed.
  • Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.
  • Administer starting peripheral IVs and perform venipunctures.
  • Perform brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal trauma scans.
  • Conduct head, thoracic, vascular chest, and soft tissue neck examinations.
  • Work in various settings including emergency department, ICU, and outpatient clinics.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in radiology or cardiology.
  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.

Pay

$2,411.20 to $2,604.40 weekly
