Travel CT Tech - $3,352 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Burlingame, California. The role is in a CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting, working 3x10 hour night shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on-call or weekend call requirements.
Responsibilities
The CT Technologist will perform routine and specialized CT procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. They will work independently using clinical judgment to execute safe, precise, and timely procedures, and will be responsible for competent patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and care teams. They may also assist with orienting other staff to the department and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to patient privacy and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience (2 years preferred)
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- CA CRT License required if applicable
- CA Venipuncture License required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Qualifications
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler. Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
