Job Description

Shift: Days, 3x12hrs

Requirements

• ARRT RT(R) and ARRT RT(CT) certifications required
• Active NJ State X-Ray License (NJDEP) required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or college-based Radiography program
• Venipuncture experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 references required for consideration

Qualifications

Skills

• Preparing and performing CT procedures per established protocols
• Making contrast administration, venipuncture, and power injector use
• Screens patients for allergies and medication incompatibilities prior to contrast injection
• Maintains patient condition before and after injection
• Coordinates emergent and unscheduled procedures
• Manages workflow across the unit
• Codes Grey, Trauma, and Partial Trauma cases
• Maintains QA/QC requirements per daily, monthly, and ACR specifications
• Reports unusual findings to the radiologist

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
