BHS Workforce is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Los Angeles, California.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred/required per facility
• State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 1+ years of CT experience preferred (varies by facility)
• IV certification/venipuncture skills often required

Duties

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging exams per physician orders, ensuring accurate positioning and image quality
• Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered, monitoring patients for adverse reactions
• Review patient history and screening for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are followed
• Accurately document exams and maintain patient records in RIS/PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure diagnostic quality imaging

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour night shifts
• 13-week duration
