About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification
• Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Capture diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) national certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• ARRT (R)
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to work long shifts (up to 10 hours per day)
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Proficiency with the McKesson PACS system
