Travel CT Tech - $2,938 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado. This role offers competitive pay, consistent night shifts, and the opportunity to work in a high-quality acute care setting using advanced CT technology.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour Night Shifts
• Hrs: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Location: Grand Junction, CO

Facility Details

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Department: Computed Tomography (CT)
• Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
• Charting System: Electronic Imaging Systems (PACS/RIS)
• Work Setting: Inpatient & Emergency Imaging

Job Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using ionizing radiation
• Ensure accurate patient identification & order verification
• Follow department protocols for all imaging procedures
• Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and completeness
• Administer contrast media per physician order and protocol
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff
• Monitor patients and respond to emergent situations
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Assist in quality control and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Support and guide students or junior technologists

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• Sectional anatomy & positioning
• CT imaging techniques & protocols
• Contrast administration & injector operation
• Proficiency in:
• Electronic imaging systems (PACS)
• Image manipulation and transfer
• Ability to:
• Work independently & in a team
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Respond to emergency situations effectively

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree (Required)
• Experience:
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred
• Acute care/hospital experience preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R) – Required
• ARRT (CT) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
