Travel CT Tech - $2,893 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in an acute care hospital setting
- Handle adult acute care and emergency department patients
- Execute procedures such as abdominal/pelvic, chest, head, vascular (PE, CTA, aorta), spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, virtual colonography, and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
- Work 5 ten-hour shifts per week with variable start times: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 7:00 PM–3:30 AM
- May require weekend coverage based on unit needs
- No floating required
- Use Epic EMR system
- Work with Siemens and Philips CT equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- ARRT advanced certification preferred
- Proficiency with Siemens and Philips CT equipment
- Epic EMR experience
- Experience in adult acute care and emergency department settings
- Active California license required if applicable
- Two professional supervisory references required
Qualifications
- Pass an EKG exam with a 20-question test including 17 rhythm strips and 3 general questions, with a 45-minute time limit and 80% minimum passing score, with two attempts permitted
- Complete required specialty modules prior to start

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Variable, 5x8-hour shifts with variable start times: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 7:00 PM–3:30 AM
