Travel CT Tech - $2,870 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week night shift assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role supports pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the CT imaging department, with a focus on Emergency Department and Level I trauma populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine studies with and without contrast.
• Conduct special procedures including brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies.
• Support Emergency Department and Level I trauma patients.
• Work night shift: 3×12‑hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
• Every weekend required; no on‑call or floating requirements.
• Operate Philips CT scanner and chart using Centricity RIS‑IC.
• Maintain radiation safety, contrast media preparation/administration, and peripheral IV starts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Emergency Department and Level I trauma experience.
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications.
• State license if applicable.
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, chest, head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast.
• Vascular chest CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA experience.
