About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 13-week position with 40 hours per week on an evening shift (8 hours).

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
  • Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
  • Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
  • Follow safety procedures for radiation exposure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • BLS certification.
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing where required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
