Travel CT Tech - $2,795 per week
About the role
Location: Morristown, NJ. 13-week travel contract starting 11/23/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts Thursday–Saturday (7 PM–8 AM) with overnight call included. Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
- Obtain medical, surgical, and radiological supplies according to established protocols.
- Maintain the sterility of the field and instruments during procedures.
- Effectively communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Verify patient identification according to AHS policy.
- Monitor patients’ conditions pre and post-contrast injections and report any sudden changes.
- Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, and history of patients.
- Participate in emergency response as needed.
- Manage inventory by maintaining adequate linen supplies and contrast media in scanning rooms.
- Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
- Perform routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table, and peripheral equipment following each use.
- As Point staff, triage procedures and ensure timely coordination of emergency requests.
- Communicate effectively with departments regarding patient status and document findings appropriately in PACS/RIS.
Requirements
Education: Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program.
Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT RT (R)
- ARRT RT (CT)
- New Jersey State X-Ray License (NJDEP)
- BLS Certification
Schedule
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7 PM – 8 AM (12-hour night shifts) with overnight call included. 36 hours per week.
Pay
Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
