Travel CT Tech - $2,706 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Albany, New York. The assignment starts on 10/05/2026 and lasts for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Set controls of related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast when applicable
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and appropriately label them
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence that is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
