Travel CT Tech - $2,702 per week

About the role

Travel CT Technologist position for a 13‑week assignment in Lander, Wyoming (Riverton campus), working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. The role involves performing diagnostic CT examinations, ensuring patient safety, and supporting radiology operations under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Interview patients to obtain, verify, or update medical history and assess risk factors (medications, pregnancy, psychological indicators).
• Explain procedures to patients, including side effects of pharmaceuticals, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow‑up.
• Set up equipment and acquire images according to protocol.
• Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions from established protocols, and communicate data to the radiologist.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate.
• Provide physician‑prescribed post‑care instructions to patients.
• Participate in process improvement activities (quality of care, patient flow, reject‑repeat analysis, patient satisfaction).
• Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
• Take call/standby as required by the department.
• Perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist when needed.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in CT Technology and Radiology (must be attached to submission).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
• Minimum of 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience; ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with GE CT and X‑ray machines.
• SageWest coversheet must be attached to the submission.

Schedule

36 hours per week; 12‑hour night shifts.
