Travel CT Tech - $2,646 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Airy, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Performs CT scans and X-rays across a broad range of anatomical areas including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies
  • Performs CT arthrography, vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism studies, and multiplanar/3D reconstructions
  • Uses GE CT scanners and PACS
  • Uses Meditech EMR
  • Works 5x8-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 PM – 3:00 AM
  • No on-call requirements
  • Orients to both CT and X-ray departments on day shift
  • Rotational holiday coverage shared with existing staff
  • Floating within the hospital as needed per facility policy

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT(R)(CT) certification required; license required if applicable
  • BLS required
  • Experience on GE CT scanners strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in image display and post-processing, 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Knowledge of contrast media preparation and/or administration, venipuncture, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety
  • Two professional references from a supervisor or someone in a supervisory capacity, completed within the past 2 years
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Pay
