• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Schedule: Saturday to Monday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (three 12-hour shifts) with no on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Utilize CT modality to create diagnostic images and ensure a safe and positive patient experience
• Conduct trauma and emergency room scanning
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate
• Licensure: New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York
• Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Certifications: Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
• Experience: Entry level; limited or no experience; MIT Level assigned based on skillset and experience
