Travel CT Tech - $2,615 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pecos, Texas.

About the role

This is a full-time travel position with an 8-hour day shift, starting on 08/10/2026. The role offers weekly pay, direct deposit, and a tax-free stipend for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of the equipment, monitor patients and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast, if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
