About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 3x12 hospital-based position in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The position is part of a 13-week assignment starting September 8, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Serves adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
  • Works in a Level I Trauma center setting
  • Performs CT procedures including abdomen and pelvis (with/without contrast), chest (with/without contrast), head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), vascular CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, CT arthrography, colonography, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage
  • Uses primary imaging equipment such as Toshiba/Canon CT scanners and Epic EMR
  • Works 3x12-hour shifts with two scheduling options
  • Does not require holiday or on-call requirements

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • Active ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Proficiency with starting peripheral IVs
  • Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
  • Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging (with/without contrast)
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Resides more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted for the duration of the assignment; no RTO is allowed during the first 2 weeks
  • All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of submission
  • Must complete Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting in person within 48 hours of signing their contract
  • Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing their contract
  • Vaccine exemption documentation must be submitted if a medical or religious exemption is requested

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 3x12 hours per week with two scheduling options:

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM with Saturday overnight 6:30 PM–7:00 PM
