Travel CT Tech - $2,543 per week

About the role

Medasource is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Lander, Wyoming. The position is at the Riverton campus (SageWest) facility, with an ASAP start date, 13‑week duration, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment under general supervision and established policies.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
• Interview patients to obtain, verify, or update medical history and assess risk factors (medications, pregnancy, psychological indicators).
• Explain procedures to patients, including side effects of pharmaceuticals, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow‑up.
• Set up equipment and acquire images as per script.
• Review images, make initial observations, document protocol exceptions, and communicate data to the radiologist.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate.
• Provide physician‑prescribed post‑care instructions to patients.
• Participate in process improvement activities (quality of care, patient flow, reject‑repeat analysis, patient satisfaction).
• Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
• Take call/standby as required by the department.
• May perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist when needed.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in CT Technology and Radiology (must be attached to submission).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
• Minimum 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience; ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with GE CT and X‑ray machines.
