About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and 1+ year of experience for a night shift assignment in a hospital setting in San Angelo, Texas. This is a 26‑week travel assignment starting November 16, 2026, with one opening.
Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 3 × 12‑hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 per week
- Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- No call requirements
Responsibilities
- Rotate through adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Perform CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions
- Conduct specialized procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
- Operate Philips and Toshiba CT equipment
- Utilize Epic charting system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications
- BLS certification
- TMB MRT certification
- State license (if applicable)
- Epic experience
- Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration
- Venipuncture skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Experience with image display and post‑processing, including ROI measurement

- Travel experience highly preferred but not required

- Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside a 110‑mile radius of the facility
Pay
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
