Travel CT Tech - $2,475 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Manchester, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately
• Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
