About the role

American Traveler is seeking a night-shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Siemens and Epic proficiency to work at a Level I trauma teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

  • 3x12-hour night shift, Tuesday-Thursday from 7p-7a with actual start time varying up to 2 hours based on department needs
  • No on-call requirement
  • May be required to float to a nearby outpatient clinic location about half a mile from the main hospital
  • Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
  • BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
  • Active state license required; license required if applicable
  • Siemens equipment experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
  • Knowledge of radiation safety practices required
  • Prior travel assignment experience required

Qualifications

Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center within an acute care teaching hospital setting

Skills

  • Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
  • Radiation safety practices
  • Special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, CTA, and colonography (preferred)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
