Travel CT Tech - $2,457 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night work. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, hold a BLS certification, and be ARRT (CT) certified.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scans
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
