Travel CT Tech - $2,448 per week
About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality CT Tech for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Portland, Oregon. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/23/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
- State licensure as required
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for medical diagnosis
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Set equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary
- Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
- Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
- Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
- Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
- Maintain a patient-focused environment of excellence providing timely, compassionate, quality care
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment incorporating national patient safety initiatives
