Travel CT Tech - $2,429 per week

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The position starts November 16, 2026, and runs Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (four 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week). One opening is available.

Details

• Radiology unit within a 400‑bed acute‑care hospital
• Average of 180 CT exams per day across three scanners
• Staffing: two techs per scanner during the day; three techs total overnight
• Equipment: GE 512‑slice, GE 128‑slice, and GE 32‑slice CT scanners
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Performs CT exams for emergency department and inpatient populations only
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and ACR accredited in CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography
• Recognized among Healthgrades America’s 250 Best Hospitals; awarded for cardiac and stroke care
• Required uniform: charcoal grey scrubs
• 50‑mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level I trauma setting
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• State license if applicable
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
• Ability to perform routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA studies
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
