Travel CT Tech - $2,417 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Works primarily in the Emergency Department CT Scanner, with floating as needed
• Performs CT scanning for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist
• Performs CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Performs 4x10-hour night shifts, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Handles studies performed with and without contrast media
• Performs CT scanning procedures including but not limited to head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• ARRT certification required
• Absent Active AZ state radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
• CT license required
• Current BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience required
• Proficient in IV placement
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start date

Qualifications

• Must be able to live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
