Travel CT Tech - $2,331 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The position is for a night‑shift CT Technologist at a Level I trauma center, requiring 2+ years of CT experience with cardiac, stroke, and trauma background. Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 3×12‑hour night shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, starting November 2, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, head, and neck with and without contrast
• Float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
• May involve management or lead experience in a clinical setting
• Participate in orientation each Monday and complete annual compliance training
• Insert peripheral IVs and prepare/administer contrast media
• Apply isolation precautions and follow PPE protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT CT and ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Siemens equipment experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience
• 1+ year of recent experience with Epic EMR
• Experience with peripheral IV insertion and contrast media preparation/administration
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Valid state license if applicable

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
