About the role
The CT Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to technical standards and practices. You will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12-hour schedule (Friday - Sunday; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans as per outlined procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Assist with biopsies and IV starts as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT imaging
- Active ARRT certification in CT and BLS certification required
- Experience with PACS systems and contrast administration
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, and PICU settings is preferred
- Must be flexible with scheduling and reliable; zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
