Travel CT Tech - $2,326 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts in Easley, South Carolina. The position requires ARRT (R)(CT) certification, BLS certification, and a South Carolina Radiology license (if applicable). The assignment begins October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and involves 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X‑ray imaging for emergency department and inpatient patients
• Transport patients to and from the emergency department
• Work alongside a second technologist per shift
• Consult with off‑site radiologists via PerfectServe secure paging
• Document studies using Epic Radiant
• May float to X‑ray as needed
• Adhere to the required Hunter Green scrub color
• Support both CT and X‑ray operations during night shifts

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• BLS certification
• South Carolina Radiology license (if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered CT and X‑ray technologist
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR

Skills

• Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, with and without contrast
• Experience with head, neck, spine, chest, and vascular imaging preferred
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Schedule

• Weekend night shifts only: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (2×12‑hour shifts)
• No on‑call requirement
• 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts)
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
