Travel CT Tech - $2,325 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Trauma Level I background in a fast-paced hospital setting. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina, with day shifts.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Weekend schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Length: 13 weeks
• Openings: 1
• Orientation held every Monday
• Annual compliance training required per facility policy
• First-time travelers are not typically considered for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to qualify for travel eligibility

Work Setting & Patient Population

• Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting with cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck regions
• Conducts scans with and without contrast for all regions
• Handles musculoskeletal trauma imaging in addition to routine diagnostic scans
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on qualifications and competencies

Equipment

• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and BLS certification required; ARRT R certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Trauma Level I hospital experience required
• 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Proficient in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Management or lead experience preferred
