Travel CT Tech - $2,319 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Tualatin, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and monitor equipment controls, adjusting as needed during the procedure.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast media.
• Dispense oral contrast agents to patients for CT scans.
• Absorb and label processed CT scan images in sequence and according to exposure.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, adhering to national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Licensure may be required in most states.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
