About the role
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel job in Tualatin, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest including vascular studies such as CTA and pulmonary embolism protocols
- Utilizes Toshiba/Canon and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS system
- Performs 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, region of interest measurement, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety protocols, isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
- Floats within the site and across the health system as requested
- No on-call requirements
- May be mandatorily cancelled up to one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
- Completes assigned education modules within one week of assignment start
- Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT-CT and BLS certification required
- Toshiba/Canon equipment experience required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Active Oregon state license or proof of application and fingerprinting required for consideration
- One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
- No felony convictions accepted; any background hit requires an explanation statement and waiver documentation

Benefits
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule
- Evening shift, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday from 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- May be mandatorily cancelled up to one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
