About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Charleston, South Carolina. The facility is a 321-bed hospital with a 24-hour emergency room, Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology, and Stroke Center accreditation from The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient cases using GE 64 Rev Evo x 2 and GE 128 Rev Evo CT scanners
• Documentation via Meditech
• Scheduled Wednesday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation (including Friday-Sunday coverage and call requirements)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant CT Technologist experience
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• CPR certification required
• SCRQSA certification required
• State license required if applicable
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered)

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• 36 hours per week
• Wednesday-Friday schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Includes Friday-Sunday coverage and call requirements

• Gray scrubs required as part of the dress code
