Travel CT Tech - $2,254 per week
About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position requires 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
The facility serves adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients with a daily census of approximately 125. Floating between the Church Street and Mary Black campuses is required. No on-call duties are necessary, and Epic EMR experience is mandatory.
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12 hours (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Hours: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Monday shift: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks, starting September 14, 2026
Responsibilities
- Perform abdomen and pelvis CT imaging, with and without contrast
- Conduct special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, and colonography (preferred)
- Perform spine, musculoskeletal, chest, head, and neck CT imaging
- Operate PACS equipment
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media
- Start peripheral IVs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable (pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start date)
- Level I Trauma facility experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- First-time travelers accepted
- Pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia testing required during orientation (one attempt allowed)
Additional Information
- All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
- Previous SRHS permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers
- Attendance policy: Missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
