About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency department X-ray and CT examinations
- Document procedures using Meditech EMR
- Work in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) CT unit with 11 ED rooms
- Staffing is 1 technologist per shift
- Equipment includes GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo RAD unit
- Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12.5-hour night shifts)
- Call rotation is required in addition to the regular schedule
- Holiday coverage is required
- Function independently in an emergency department setting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging
- Active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- ARRT(R)(CT) required
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Ability to function independently in an emergency department setting

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12.5-hour night shifts).
