About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a 12-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves adult acute care and outpatient CT imaging in a setting equipped with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment, along with PACS and Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck regions
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE use
• Float within scope to other units or facilities within a 75-mile radius

Schedule

• 3x12-hour day shifts, Tuesday-Thursday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Possibility of shifting to three 12-hour overnight shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 12 weeks, starting September 1, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level II settings preferred
• Current driver’s license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the candidate’s name with matching address (dated within the last 3 months)
• Two supervisory references required
• Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former facility employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the organization
• Any gaps in work history of 3 months or more must include an explanation
