Travel CT Tech - $2,165 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. This hospital-based role serves both inpatient and outpatient populations in the CT Scanner department.

Shift: 3x12-hour evening/night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Hours: 36 hrs/wk. Start Date: August 31, 2026. Length: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform CT scanning procedures with and without contrast media, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy/drainage procedures under CT guidance.
• Apply knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program.
• ARRT registration required.
• State licensure as a general radiographer.
• CT license required if applicable.
• BLS certification required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position.
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at this healthcare system within the past 2 years will not be considered.
• RTO (return-to-origin) requests must be less than one week.
