Travel CT Tech - $2,117 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Apple Valley, California. This role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and rotates between days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scans
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• National certification in computed tomography (ARRT (CT))
• State-specific licensing if required
• A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
