About the role
Travel CT Technologist position available in Sarasota, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and preparation for scans.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide necessary reports.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a CT Technologist in Florida.
- Experience in performing CT scans.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficiency with CT equipment.
