About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality CT Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and adjust equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist the radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist the radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of experience as a CT Technologist in a health‑care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• State licensure where required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
