TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. The role requires 1 year of experience and involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients to scan specific body areas
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• ARRT (R) certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
