Unit Specifics
- Number of beds: 3 CT scanner patient ratios
- Unit staffing: 2 technologists on overnight shift
- Equipment: 2 scanners (Client and Siemens)
- Documentation systems: Meditech and Client Centricity
- Floating policy: May float to main department
- Patient experience requirements: AIDET framework, friendly and patient-focused approach
- Supports ER department with turnaround times, stroke, and trauma cases in a timely and efficient manner
Responsibilities
- Perform standard CT scans (no invasive CT procedures required on this shift)
- Collaborate closely with the ER team to expedite patient care
- Utilize advanced skills such as Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification and Florida license
- BLS certification
- 1 year of CT experience
- Trauma and stroke experience
- Client experience (specific to the facility)
- Dress code: Black scrubs (HCA Division policy)
