About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an outpatient CT Scan unit within a radiology department. This role requires ARRT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026
- 36–40 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Variable 12-hour shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM, with potential day, evening, and overnight rotations
- Every other weekend requires 12-hour shifts
- On-call pager responsibilities may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with department standards
- Maintain competence across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
- Adhere to safety guidelines for patients, self, and support personnel
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Work independently and manage varied shift schedules
- Demonstrate flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and lengths
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Scan experience required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Active ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
- Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
- State license required if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
- COVID vaccination and booster required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to provide date of birth for consideration
