Job Opportunity
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care
Shift Information
- 12-hour Night Shifts: 36 hours or 48 hours per week
- Will float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed
Unit Details
- Unit Size: 20 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
- Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation is required
Qualifications
- 2 years of current Critical Care experience - Required
- Willingness to float to PCU - Required
- Experience with Ventilation, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring - Required
- Meditech Expanse experience - Strongly preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Candidate must have their own vehicle - Firm requirement
Certification Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
State License Requirements
The candidate must possess a valid RN license for Massachusetts, which must be in hand prior to application.
