About the Role

Critical Care Pharmacist, Inpatient (PHARM IP). The organization is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Pharmacist to provide specialized medication management within the Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves participating in codes and traumas, supporting patient care around the clock, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized medication management in the Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Participate in codes and traumas
• Support patient care 24/7
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize clinical outcomes

Schedule

Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week. Shift options include Evenings (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM), Swing shift (2:00 PM – 12:30 AM), and possible day shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for those with rounding experience. Position available 7 days per week to support 24/7 staffing needs.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• PGY2 Critical Care or Emergency Department residency training, or 5 years of clinical care experience in ICU and/or ED
• Board certification in Critical Care Pharmacy (BCCCP or BCEMP)
