Travel Critical Care Float RN - $2,254 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Critical Care Float RN for a travel nursing assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

About the Role

This 13-week assignment begins on September 21, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour night shifts. The role is ideal for a CVICU RN with critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a CVICU setting, including experience with vents, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Manage patients requiring advanced cardiac support, including hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation.
• Administer and monitor vasoactive drips, blood products, and care for ventilated patients.
• Perform central line care/management, arterial line management, and infection prevention.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, and Swan Ganz catheters.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CV ICU experience and 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIH (required). CPI and additional certifications (e.g., CCRN, TNCC) preferred.
• Experience with Level 1 Trauma, PA lines, ICP monitoring, and chemotherapy administration (preferred but not required).
• Travel nursing experience required.
• Must complete all compliance requirements, including fit testing (no exceptions for facial hair), by 3 PM CST the Monday before the start date.
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius of Saint Louis.

Licenses

• Missouri: Submission without a license is acceptable; requires MO or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state).
• Illinois: License in hand required at time of submission.
• Compact: Must match permanent residence; otherwise, submit for update and confirm ETA.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay may vary and is subject to change during the assignment.
