Travel COTA - SNF / LTC - $1,484 per week

About the role

This is a contract, travel role for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at a skilled nursing facility/long-term care setting in Florence, Wisconsin, emphasizing responsibility, accountability, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises based on treatment plans developed with an occupational therapist.
• Assess patients' learning needs and capabilities, considering age, understanding, and emotional status.
• Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring patient progress.
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.
• Integrate the organization's vision, values, and goals into daily performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution or a certificate from a recognized vocational or technical college.
• Current state licensure or active application process for licensure as a COTA or Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Ability to work a consistent schedule, typically 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
