Travel COTA - SNF / LTC - $1,484 per week

About the Role

A great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a travel position located in Advance, North Carolina.

The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, aiding in the provision of rehabilitative services for individuals with physical, emotional, mental, or developmental impairments.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regard to age, level of understanding, and emotional status.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical, or vocational college.
• Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
