About the role
Magnet Medical is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient functional capabilities and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implementing therapeutic activities to improve patient occupational performance
- Evaluating patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
- Passport required for international travel
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
