Travel COTA Acute Care Hospital - $1,700 per week
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an ASAP-start travel assignment at Saint Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This is a great opportunity for a COTA looking for a consistent Monday–Friday-style day schedule in a hospital environment while still keeping weekend requirements minimal.
About the role
- Hospital-based COTA opportunity
- 40 hours per week, 5×8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Weekend rotation only every 4th weekend
- ASAP start, currently approved through October 17, 2026
- High likelihood of extension through the holidays
- Travelers living within 25 miles will be considered
- Collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises based on established plans of care
- Address functional mobility, strength, coordination, safety, and independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, nursing, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
- Document patient progress and response to treatment
- Assist with discharge planning and recommendations as appropriate
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Minnesota COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current NBCOT certification as applicable
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable working within a hospital-based rehabilitation environment
